Physical Therapy

Physical therapists are skilled healthcare providers who specialize in the rehabilitation of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal and neurological injuries and disorders.  At Multicare, we provide unique one-on-one patient care with an emphasis on gentle osteopathic manual therapy.  Our physical therapist is highly skilled in a variety of manual therapy techniques, including craniosacral therapy, muscle energy, myofascial release, and Jones strain/counterstrain.

Treatments are tailored to address structural and functional restrictions, with the primary goal of alleviating pain and the restoration of mechanical function.  In addition to manual therapy, your care plan may also include Kinesiotaping, McConnell patellofemoral taping, body mechanic and postural training, custom home exercise programs, ultrasound, heat/ice, and electrical stimulation (e.g. interferential, iontophoresis, TENS, microcurrent).

Your physical therapist will complete a thorough evaluation and provide you with an individualized care plan to help reduce pain and restore optimal function.
